DIY : Blink Eye Glitter Shoe
Hey peaches,
CINDERELLA is coming out soon in theatres!!! Im super excited! like thrilled overboard and to know that theres gonna bit of FROZEN before cinderella , I'm like HURRY UP 13Th MARCHH!! :D
Anyways Im gonna settle down, gotta low down my excitement. I Got a DIY here for you (cinderella inspired even though it ain't a glass slipper its all about GLITTERS!)
Okay so lately i've been obsessing over chiara ferragni shoes especially the quirky ones, like the blink eye glitter shoes? But the price has been not so affordable for me...So what i did is i made my own easy DIY of the same look-a-like Ferragni shoes and that is way too affordable for me and for anyone. ^_^
CHECK IT OUT BELOW!
All you'll need :
a) a ballerina flat pump shoe ( PS: textile flats better then patent flats)
b) glitter powder
c) glitter glue
d) acrylic decor paint
e) felt , Paint brush, scissor, tape and fabric colour pen and fabric glue!
I got this really cheap shoe from 'OVS' it's an italian brand kinda like the 'Primark' of Italy. 7 euros for the shoe and 10 euros for the other materials so all together it cost me just 17 euros to create a whole new shoe ^_^
To begin you have to first tape the sole of the shoe because you don't want the glitters to get all messy around and it will save yourself from cleaning up after you finish.
I used acrylic decor to fully paint up my shoe before i put the glitters. Depending on the colour of glitter you wanna use for your shoe you can use that colour for the acrylic paint too.
After you finish painting , spray the glitters on the shoe the acrylic paint helps stick the glitter. And oh yes! you wanna use a paper or something below while you work because you don't want the glitters everywhere around your room. And you could also reuse the glitter thats fallen off the shoe to spray it again.
Do the same for the other pair of shoe too.
Leave it to dry overnight. in the morning shake the loose glitters off the shoe.
Next draw the eye and on the felt. you need to be really precise on this while you cut the eye out. this is the only difficult bit which aint that tough girls. A little pain for a glittery future ;)
After you've cut the required eye and the eyelash, use the fabric glue to help stick on the shoe. leave it for some hours. i left it overnight cos i made mine at midnight.
In the morning my shoe was all ready to be swayed around!!
before
AFTER!!!
So what do you think?? if you like it why don't you make one too :D and let me know how it goes.

DIY : Doing the Romper way!
Its DIY time again. Im excited and looking forward to the Spring/Summer already through these cold rainy european weather. Rompers are one of the comfortable outfit you can dress it up or dress it down anytime-anywhere. Last spring it was all over and i wanted one, late but yeah, i decided why not make it for myself instead of spending much bucks at the store.
Lastnight i was making my peabrain analyse on how to come about one. Ive never made shorts before so i was pretty nervous too. And most of all i don't even have a pattern for it! ( PS : i hate pattern making, my professor is always behind my ass to create one before i start any outfit. but no i've never listened till date.)
But Voila! my pea brain worked an idea out and i realised my first time diy R-O-M-P-E-R!! ^_^
- 2 metres of light cotton/lace fabric
- 2 metres of lining ( i did not use lining in mine)
- pair of shorts as a template
- needle, thread, scissor, pins, measuring tape.
So I used the short to cut out the shape on the fabric. i left around 28-30 cm from the waist line of my shorts to my armpit. ( it depends on your size). My short is a high waisted short so the measurement can differ accordingly too.
I hand stitched it since i don't own a machine and i love hand stitching anyways. first with a simple running stitch then double stitching over to refrain it from opening during wash or any accidental moments.
The tricky part is when it comes to stitching around the crotch area. i was so confused i sat there staring at my fabric for a good 10 minutes trying to figure it out and finally i got it through. be careful when your stitching the crotch area because you wanna align it.
Now choose the front side of the garment and you can have it anyway you like it- button up, zippered, hook or a simple knot. i used a hook for my. the larger panel hooked over the smaller panel.
It's almost ready now you just gotta style it up with a lil belt around the waist to give more shape to your body.
DIY denim-animal print romper, DIY crochet heart ring ( my roommate made that!!!!! ^_^)
Get Inspired,
Stay peachy, God bless.

Monomouth Monotone
Having one of those Feel- like- wearing- a-particular- colour moments?? try wearing them in shades. You can go regular with the black and white tone or go play with your dash of shades.
here i've worn my dark greyish-blue denim shirt over my dark blue heart print cotton pants.
(PS: darker hues gives you slimming effect ;p )
add a dash of little color along.....don't get too monoton-ised
Monotone always stays in fashion so go on and try it out.
