Spring outfit : shorts with coat! my Favourite ;)

You can't take a chance with the Italian weather, you could have all the seasons in one day if your not lucky ;) Pair up your shorts with a trench coat or a lighter jacket to keep yourself prepared. I was glad i did that because the whole day it was all bright -warm-sunny and by late afternoon the weather decided to storm up with an indecent amount of rain and wind that could almost blow you away. i did ended up with a sneezy night and it wasn't so nice.

so now you could tell me whats your favourite spring look?

Dreamcatcher : Flower Head Part - 1

Hey peaches,

Spring is finally here!!! blooming flowers, fresh leaves on the trees, green grass, chirping birds, sunny days....such a beautiful season. So to go along with the season i thought ill dwell myself and everyone in the mood through these posts coming up. 

This shoot was done end of last summer in a beautiful field of wild cotton grass in Nagaland, India.

The flower crowns are easy to be made. i made them using bamboo as the base and the artificial flowers for decoration. Five crowns were made and ill be posting them in parts so keep a watch ;)

Namaskara

Merry December 1!

This year i have been so dormant on my blog and id like to apologise.

This is a very late update of an old project i worked on, but i guess it's never too late to get back on track again. 

Namaskara- was a collection i created giving a little Indian twist with a modern take. DIY crop tops and handwoven skirts. we had the photoshoot on a sunny spring day in this beautiful park in Milan.

HAPPY FRIDAY! hope your week has been going good. its the weekend again...two weeks and ill be packing my bags to be home ^_^. i cannot wait!!!

My exams are still on , can't wait for freedom days! 

Anyways Here's a post to some DIY accessories that i made. 

Taking my inspiration from dreamcatcher i came up with two accessories- a head gear and a necklace. 

a simple hair clip was used to create the base after which i used thin brass wire (0.80mm- 5m) which i coiled two together n created the shape i wanted. and then on top of which i used a much thinner wire (0.30mm) to give the finishing over it.

the wire beads i got it from a local craft store called 'fantasy craft'. That store makes me go mad because i always want to buy just everything there. 

for the necklace i used readymade coiled threads and triple layered them as i wanted and then stitched the beads on em.

Isabel Marant for H&M!!!!

                                 Want Isabel Marant's runway looks, it's all over H&M in stores.  the high street limited collection collaboration opened yesterday and everything is already out of stock online so you can go try push n hush around at the local stores and fight for your find!. Everything is out of stock online!!!!

                          Many don't like H&M but i love H&M, its reasonable and chic for everyday wear though its super common around because you'll see every betty-sally wearing it on the street. but who cares mix a piece with one vintage offer that nobody has!!! ;)

so go ahead!!! get your hands on one of em Isabel's! Good Luck Happy shopping ;)

amour d'été : Summer Love

Peaches!!

              Hope you all have been keeping peachy. 

Remember my May post? http://azzumi-yes-azzumi.blogspot.it/2013/05/peek-boo-to-my-blossom-outfit.html  Well i finally completed the whole outfit and yes of course i had to redo my skirt design twice cos i was not happy and finally i was satisfied with this! hehe

We had our shoot done out in this lovely park a walking distance from where i live, it was perfect spot for us under this mulberry trees ^_^

 Deriving my inspiration from horse chestnuts, i used its elements to create this wholly "hand sewn" ensemble. It took me quite a lot of time because you gotta be perfect when you are hand sewing + cutting out little fabric florals and then embellishing them kinda almost made me go crazy but it was all the worth it.

         

              Since it was not the season to find a real horse chestnuts i used the ordinary nuts they sell in the market to put on my shoe which i painted then so that no insects or other bugs gets attracted to my shoes! Painting and creating the sole was a tough part. I used studs to give the spike effect for the sole and for the back edges that relates to the spikey chestnut skin.
