Namaskara

Merry December 1!
This year i have been so dormant on my blog and id like to apologise.
This is a very late update of an old project i worked on, but i guess it's never too late to get back on track again.
Namaskara- was a collection i created giving a little Indian twist with a modern take. DIY crop tops and handwoven skirts. we had the photoshoot on a sunny spring day in this beautiful park in Milan.
Below are my favourite images from the shoot , i hope you like it too ^_^

India Inspired

I love how Indian wear is twisted and is born as an absolute-gorgeous-pretty western wear. Use of bindis and garlands, saree silhouette, bejewelled tunic tops, rich brocade embroidery and intricate sequin work. Vivid palette of pinks, plums, fuchsias, peacock blues and creams all blended with fine golden embroidery.beautiful eggplant, gold, red, and ivory.
My next project on Missoni is a women's collection and yes Inspired by my India <3 p="">

DIY : Beaded Elphie!!!

Hullo peaches,
Wanna bring life to your plain cardigan?? Simple work...embellish it!

Meet Elphie (elphi) my lil Big be-jewelled elephant ^_^

I made elephant shape cutouts from the leftover cutouts of my denims that i had used for making shorts. after cutting out the shape i needed, i bleached it to give a faded look after which i stitched it on the cardigan and then beaded it up.

I took the inspiration from the decorated Indian elephants. They're always so prettily decorated, so bright, vibrant , playful and makes you so happy just by looking at it itself.

Fluorescent and gold beads gets a bold stand on a grey background for a stunning shoulder.

Hope you all love it and you could try making like this one, all you need is just a little patience and love to work.
Get inspired and stay Blessed.
Love,
Toli x x x
